Our Process
The Plasma based biotherapeutics market has two segments:
plasma collection and plasma fractionation.
THE OPPORTUNITY
There is little to no collection of Plasma or manufacturing of PDMP in low-medium income countries.

PLASMA COMPOSITION
Human plasma has 35 and 10 g/L of albumin and Ig (ref.: Modern Plasma Fractionation - PMC (nih.gov)), which is approximately 80% of all plasma proteins potentially fractionated. Other plasma fractionated products are used for many other rare disease treatments like Hemophilia A.
THE PROCESS
Human plasma is collected either directly from donors using plasmaphoresis process (called as Source Plasma) or recovered through donated human blood (recovered Plasma). In human blood we have 55% plasma, 44% red blood cells and ~1% white blood cells & platelets.
There is an increasing geriatric population and immune deficiency diseases in low-medium income countries, these require supply reliability.
